I forgot to put these great pictures up in my last post. Don snapped one of a cicada, immediately after it hatched, and when we first moved out to the farm, there were these beautiful butterflies out there. So pretty!

A few weeks ago we decided to start running the air conditioning at a higher temp in order to use less electricity. I was surprised how easy the transition was, even with the outside comfort index WELL into triple digits.
